During elections in Canada, lawn signs supporting candidates pop up everywhere. This often helps folks to see who is getting voter support, but rarely opens up public dialogue about key issues. The ‘Vote for Climate’ signs join other issue-oriented sign campaigns by citizens’ organizations that seek to change this.

In our view, sharing a non-partisan sign specifically encouraging “voting for climate” is especially important right now, as the political will to take meaningful climate action seems to be faltering. Each sign helps make climate change a bigger part of the public conversation — and hopefully a high priority for all candidates and elected representatives.These signs are affordable, weather-resistant, and reusable–they can be easily stored and brought out again in future elections to continue emphasizing the power of voters to shape an ambitious agenda for climate action.

2. Choose your payment method/amount.

Each sign is sold for a suggested amount of $15 to cover printing/distribution costs.

However, if people want to make a donation to WRCC above this amount, or to help subsidize signs for those who can't afford the full price, that is also greatly appreciated*. To be clear, we do not want cost to be a barrier for anyone to get a sign. If you would like a sign but cannot afford the suggested amount, email us and we’ll find a solution. Any amount contributed is always appreciated.

* Please note that WRCC is not a registered charity so we will not be able to issue a tax receipt for any donations.


3. Choose a pick-up option.

a) You can pick up your sign(s) at one of our convenient public pick-up locations.

b) You can pick up your sign(s) at a sign captain location near you (not publicly posted for privacy reasons.)

By submitting your contact information below, we can advise you of the nearby additional locations for pick-up.

4. Submit your contact information so that we can ensure your sign order is available at the pick-up location.

Please note that address information is needed if you are picking up from a non-public/sign captain location.
