Seedy Saturday

Guided by Canadian charitable organization, Seeds of Diversity, the Kitchener-Waterloo Seedy Saturday seed swap invites members of our gardening community to exchange home-grown seeds, attend seminars, and connect with each other! Seed swaps are fair-like events where growers exchange seeds from plants that they have grown themselves. Growing crops from home-grown seeds helps prevent the extinction of garden-variety species and in turn, protects the planet’s biodiversity. It’s also cost-effective and a ton of fun!
